Thermodynamic analysis of reductive decomposition for phosphogypsum
|
Abstract:
Phosphogypsum was the solid waste discharged from the high concentration phosphate fertilizer industry. Thermodynamic calculation software HSC Chemistry 5 was used to contrast and analysis the reductive reaction of phosphogypsum with coke, sulfur, hydrogen and carbon monoxide. The relationships of reducing agent and decomposition temperature, equilibrium constant and energy consumption were explored. The results showed that with CO as reducing agent, the reducing reaction was easiest and the energy consumption was lowest; whether using the above reducing agent, it was easier for CaSO4 to be decomposed into CaS than into CaO.
