Effects of DO concentrations on N2O production in simultaneous nitrification and denitrification process

The performance of simultaneous nitrification and denitrification(SND) and N2O emission under different DO concentrations in the sequencing batch biofilm reactor(SBBR) were studied in this paper.Continuous aeration ran through the whole process.DO concentration was controlled at 1.0 mg/L,2 mg/L,2.5 mg/L and 3 mg/L,respectively.Results indicated that SND rates were high at the DO concentration of 2 mg/L and 2.5 mg/L,the ammonium removal rates were 97.9% and 98.5%,respectively.The emitted N2O and dissolved N2...
