Treatment of fermentation alcohol wastewater by coagulation-precipitation process
|
Abstract:
The coagulation precipitation was used to treat the fermentation alcohol wastewater. The influences of coagulation nature, coagulation dosage, pH and sedimentation time were researched. The study showed that PAS was superior to PAC and PFS. The optimum reaction conditions were at pH 8 and 60 mg/L of PAS with 90 min of sedimentation time. Under these conditions, the removal rates of COD, turbidity and NH3-N would reach 41.91%, 46.15% and 49.61%, respectively. The results demonstrated that coagulation precipitation would lighten the burden of following afterpurification system, and help to enhance quality of recycled water.
