Internal flow numerical simulation analysis of coagulation mixing

Abstract:
Through the numerical simulation of internal flow field for the round mixing container,the turbulence velocity field,turbulent dissipation rate and turbulence kinetic energy were analyzed for the flow changes of two-dimensional space in the container,the influence of particle coagulation collisions and the floc growth in the mixing process.For the round mixing container’s shortcomings,the experiment put forward a series of improved models: circular baffle,square glass,polygon glass,round angle glass and square spoiler model,then compared their internal flow field changes under different rotating speed.The results show that under the same cross-sectional area,the round angle model is more conducive to collision of particles bond and the growth of floc.
