Research on compound type biocides in biofouling control

Abstract:
In order to resolve the problem of biofouling breeding in recirculating cooling water system,mixed antimicrobial characteristics of compound enzymes and certain biocides on biofouling were investigated.The results showed that the effect of compound bromogeramine on biofouling control increased obviously with the help of enzymes.Cooperated with compound enzymes,180 mg/L for bromogeramine and 80 mg/L for chlorhexidine acetate are the optimal concentrations to control biofilm.Compared with biocides alone,using...
