Application of Ti-substrate IrO2-SnO2 electrode in seawater flue gas desulfurization recovery system
|
Abstract:
The Ti-substrate IrO2-SnO2 electrode with IrOx-TiO2 interlayer was prepared by the impregnation-thermal decomposition method. The separate chlorine electrocatalytic activity of the electrode was increased and this electrode was highly stabilized. The Na2SO3 simulated solution of seawater desulfurization was treated through the electrochemical oxidation method. Experimental results showed that the removal rates of Na2SO3 and COD were influenced by current density, temperrature, pH and the reaction time. With current density of 200 mA/cm2, pH value of 3.5, when the electrolysis time was 15 min, the removal rate of Na2SO3 solution (440 mg/L ) was 96.5% and that of COD was 82.6%.
