Study on treatment of oilfield wastewater by iron-carbon micro electrolysis process
|
Abstract:
With the increase of oilfield wastewater and the increasingly strict requirement of discharge standard,it is necessary to search for an economical and efficient treatment method to achieve standard discharge.Iron-carbon micro electrolysis technology used to treat Ji Dong Oilfield wastewater was studied. The factors that affect the COD removal efficiency including particle size of iron scale,pH,Fe/C mass ratio and retention time were analyzed.Orthogonal experiments were also carried out to determine the order of different factors and optimal conditions as follows: pH> Fe/C mass ratio > retention time;pH=5,Fe/C mass ratio=7∶ 1,retention time=50 min.Under optimum conditions,COD removal efficiency was 43.85% and the effluent water met the second class national wastewater discharge standard.
