Impact of PAHs on ground water during mine-filling with fly ash
|
Abstract:
This paper focuses on the simulation of mine-filling with fly ash in the power station of the 12th mine of the Pingdingshan Coal Group and Yanma, Jiaozuo, through both the immersion and leaching experiments. Using SPE-GC/MS to determine the concentrations of 16 PAHs that are the priorities of control pollutants by US EPA. The results indicate that the main pollutants are naphthalene, acenaphthylene, fluorene, phenanthrene and anthracene, all of which are with a low concentration. And the content of phenanthrene and anthracene are relatively high. This appears that PAHs can transfer into water from fly ash and affect the ground water system during the mine-filling process.
