Research on high ammonia-nitrogen fertilizer wastewater treatment by modified biological aerated filter in series
|
Abstract:
Aiming at large discharging, highly concentrated ammonia-nitrogen and low C/N ratio of fertilizer wastewater, modified BAF with concentrated microorganisms was designed. The processing performance, mechanism and practicability were studied, its performances comparing with SBR, the general BAF (Biofor) and modified BAF without concentrated microorganisms were discussed simultaneously. The results showed that modified BAF could effectively remove ammonia-nitrogen from 200 mg/L to less than 5 mg/L, COD from 150 mg/L to less than 50 mg/L, its removal rate of total nitrogen was more than 60%.
