Abstract:
In this research, the RuO2-IrO2/Ti plate, iron plate and stainless steel plate were respectively used as the anode of the electrode, graphite plate as the cathode, and columnar activated carbon as the particle electrodes. The results show that when the RuO2-IrO2/Ti plate is used as the anode and the particle size of the columnar activated carbon is 1 mm, the effect of electrolysis is the best, with the highest removal rate of COD and color of the wastewater. Four factors, the electrolysis voltage, electrode plate spacing, electrolysis time and initial pH value were selected as the main parameters in the orthogonal tests. According to the results, the order of effect is electrolysis voltage > electrode plate spacing>electrolysis time>initial pH value, and the best parameter combination is electrolysis voltage of 10 V, with electrode plate spacing of 8 cm, electrolysis time of 20 min and initial pH of 4.Under such conditions, the COD and color removal rates can reach 59.5% and 93.57%, respectively.
