Photocatalytic degradation of sodium humate with TiO2 microspheres
|
Abstract:
The TiO2 microspheres using titanium tetrachloride as raw material and cation resins as templates, were prepared by a sol-gel method and characterized by XRD,FTIR,SEM.TiO2 microspheres were mainly composed of anatase TiO2,while doped a small amount of Na+,SO2-4,which photocatalytic properties such as reuse and long service life were better than the TiO2 powders, and could be used as the practical value of the photocatalyst. Some influencing factors of degradation such as the addition of catalysis of TiO2 microspheres and reaction time were investigated under 300 W high-pressure mercury light.Photocatalytic degradation of sodium humate results showed that when the initial concentration of sodium humate was 10 mg/L under alkaline condition, the amount of catalyst was 2.5 g/L,and the best degradation rate can reach 96.51% after 3 h.
