Study on methods for extracting nitrogen and phosphorus from waste activated sludge

In order to extract nitrogen and phosphorus from waste activated sludge(WAS) for enhancing its reclamation and reduction,three kinds of methods,alkaline thermal hydrolysis,ultrasonication and ultrasonic-alkali extraction,were used to treat WAS respectively.On the basis of optimizing the extraction conditions for each method,the extraction rate of inorganic nitrogen(IN) and phosphorus(PO3-4-P) and mass decrement of WAS were compared among three kinds of methods.The results showed that the optimum conditions ...
