Abstract:

The simulative model of DPF based on GT-Power was used to make research into the impact of DPF structural parameters on the filtration efficiency and pressure drop. The results show that the following structural parameters have effects on the filtration efficiency: CPSI, porosity, pore diameter and wall thickness. And the CPSI, the permeability of filter, porosity and wall thickness affect the pressure drop.
