The treatment process,main structures and design parameters of a wastewater treatment plant in the United States were described and analyzed with the operation efficiency in one year. The removal rates of TSS,BOD5,COD,NH3-N,TP and Turbidity were 97.7%,97.7%,93.5%,82.6%,95.2% and 97.9%,respectively.And the effluent quality was better than that in our country.This could provide some suggestions for the wastewater plant building in China.
