Study on modified fly-ash for the removal of acid mist waste gas
|
Abstract:
To remove the acid mist waste gas produced from chemical production, the water effect, microwave and traditional wet methods were used to modify the properties of the fly-ash.The results indicate that the alkali method of the traditional wet method is the best way and the corresponding BET specific surface is 8.23 times than before. The new adsorbent used to remove acid mist was made of the modified fly-ash, cheap natural minerals zeolite and slaked lime, under normal temperature and pressure, the results showed that the adsorbent named G made from the modified fly-ash performed better in HCl acid mist adsorption than the adsorbent named W, which was made from raw fly-ash. Under the specific condition, the total adsorption quantities of W and G are 331.4 mg/g and 445.2 mg/g.
