Transition metal oxides catalysts for oxidation of nitric oxide

Abstract:
A series of transition metal oxides were prepared by precipitation method.Catalytic activity tests were performed in a fixed-bed quartz reactor(10 mmi.d) under atmospheric pressure.The activity decreased in the following sequence: Mn>Cr>Co>Cu>Fe>Zn.Manganese oxide catalysts were prepared by low temperature solid phase reaction method,rheological phase reaction and excessive dipping method respectively.The activities of oxidation NO to NO2 were investigated under oxidation atmosphere.The results showed that ...
