Study on the status and temporal and special variation of NO_x pollution on urban traffic roads in Beijing
北京市交通道路空气中NO_x的污染现状及时空变化规律研究

Based on field monitoring results of NOx concentrations on three types of roads (open road, crossroad, street canyon) in Beijing in four seasons of 2008 and 2009, NOx pollution status, temporal and special variation and the affecting factors were analyzed. The experimental results showed that NOx concentrations exist two peaks in the morning and evening. NOx concentrations are significantly affected by the traffic flow and the different seasons. NO concentration accounts for the high rate of NOx, and there is good correlation between NO and NOx, while it is contrary between NO2 and NOx.
