Surfactants enhanced electrokinetic technique for removing Cu and Cd from sludge

The effects of using different surfactants as cathode purging solution,controlling acidity of cathode purging solution and voltage on removing Cd and Cu from actual sewage sludge by electrokinetic technique were investigated,and the orthogonal experiments were chosen to confirm the optimum treatment conditions.The results showed that it was feasible to use surfactant as cathode purging solution during electrokinetic process,and the removal rates were 11.1%~52.6% and 9.1%~46.7% for Cu and Cd,respectively.Thr...
