Oil removal from effluent of Ningxia Petrochemical Company with a combination process of walnut filter and ultrafiltration
核桃壳过滤器与超滤对宁化排水的除油研究

A pilot-scale process,which includes a walnut filter and ultrafiltration,was used to treat the effluent of Ningxia Petrochemical Company.The efficiency of oil removal from petrochemical wastewater by this process was examined and a simulated wastewater was used to assess the resistance of this process with regards to shock oil loadings.The results show that the combination of a walnut filter and ultrafiltration can remove oil and oil-based COD from petrochemical wastewater with high efficiency and is quite resistant to shock oil loadings.
