Study on mechanism and treatment of wastewater containing lead using anaerobic metabolites
|
Abstract:
Based on the deficiency of traditional methods to remove lead in wastewater, lead removal rate of wastewater was studied by using metabolites from four anaerobic bacterial strains. Key factors such as metabolites amount, pH, temperature and reaction time were studied. Orthogonal test indicated the best treating condition: metabolites amount was 0.5 g, pH was 6, temperature was 20 and reaction time was 20 min, and the removal rate of lead could reach 99.4%, similar results were presented in the study on practical wastewater of battery factory. At last, the removal mechanism was studied by analyzing metabolites with scanning electron microscope and X-ray energy scattering spectra.
