Operating conditions optimization of a precipitation recovery device by magnesium ammonium phosphate process
|
Abstract:
A simple magnesium ammonium phosphate (MAP) precipitation recovery device was designed and the effects of reaction times and aeration amounts on the phosphorus removal rate were studied under the intermittently operating congditions. The optimal reaction time was 90 minutes.the optimal aeration amounts was 1.2 L/min,the corresponding phosphorus removal rate and the precipitation recovery rate were 98.26%and 74.54%respectively.When a infundibuliform clapboard was added to separate the reaction region and the precipitation region, and the device was operated continuously. The phosphorus removal rate and the precipitation recovery rate were 92.1 1%and 63.66%respectively.Under the conditions that without adding the phosphate and magnesium and only adjusting the pH value of the sludge dewatering filtrate and operating continuously, the average phosphorus removal rate and the precipitation recovery rate were 95.16%and 70%respectively,and the operating performance was stable.
