Effects of C/N on anaerobic digestion process of duck feces at moderate temperature
|
Abstract:
The complete mixture anaerobic digestion experiments of duck feces for different C/N (15, 20, 25 and 35) were done in 10 L glass pot under the conditions of neuter pH, substrate concentration 6% and moderate temperature. COD, pH,volatile fatty acid(VFA) and biogas yield in the process of anaerobic digestion were measured as the reaction system was running for 30 days. The results showed that C/N was a key factor in the anaerobic digestion process of duck feces. The gas volume was the highest (biogas yield 0.178 m3/kg, methane yield 0.127 m3/kg), the removal rate of COD was 24.06% and methane content in biogas was 71.5% when the C/N was adjusted to 25.
