An engineering example of water reuse and heat energy reclaim in a batik dyeing corporation
|
Abstract:
The soaping process wastewater was treated by the craft of flocculation precipitation ClO2 decolorization-sand filtration-MW/UV photocatalytic oxidation in the Qingdao Phoenix Batik Dyeing Corporation. The operation characteristic, effluent water quality and the impact on reusing were discussed. The results showed that the COD and colority of the effluent water were under 100 mg/L and 10 dilution times all the time in the case of influent water quality fluctuation. The reusing water could satisfy the requirements of soaping process. This craft could save 200 t water and 1 t standard coal for the corporation everyday. It offered a new scheme for dyeing and finishing industry to achieve the general target of saving 20% of energy and 20% of water.
