Experimental study on treating waste heavy metal elements by kiln
|
Abstract:
Waste chemical reagents are hazardous solids requiring to be treated safely. The experimental study in which cement mixd the waste chemical reagents which are very common from laboratory into kiln (as 0.1%w cement) indicates that samples mixed cement with heavy metal elements have the same XRD spectrum, which shows that the cement structure has not changed much, showing the same structure. The intensity of pressure (7 d and 28 d respectively) meets the national standard. Analysis of the solutions by leaching the mixed sample for 28 days show that the heavy metal elements in the solutions are lower than the toxic level standard of leaching industry waste solid. Therefore using kiln to treat waste chemical reagent is possible.
