Study on wastewater treatment by Ti-based oxides coating anodes

Abstract:
Three kinds of Ti-based oxide modified electrodes,SnO2-Sb2O3-CeO2/SnO2-Sb2O3/Ti,SnO2-Sb2O3-CoO2/SnO2-Sb2O3/Ti and SnO2-Sb2O3-CoO2/IrO2/Ti,were made in the experiment.They were used to treat domestic sewage to choose the best efficient electrode.The SnO2-Sb2O3-CeO2/SnO2-Sb2O3/Ti was finally selected as the best anode.The effects of electrolysis time and electrolysis current density on the electrolytic efficiency were investigated.The optimum conditions of wastewater treatment were determined as follows: the ...
