Preparation and characterization of palladium-loaded chelating resins and their property on PBDEs debromination

Abstract:
With polyacrolein-isonicotinic acid hydrazone resin as functional polymer support,a chelating resin catalyst containing palladium(Resin I) has been prepared by selective chemical bonding of its functional groups with noble metals.The resin is then further transformed to its reductive form(Resin II) through the in-situ reduction reaction of KBH4 on the polymer.The two palladium-loaded resins are characterized by SEM,IR spectra,X-ray diffraction and TG/DTG analysis.Their degradation properties for the debromi...
