Application of an integrated dust collection and desulfurization device in purification of smoke from coal-burning boilers

Abstract:
The smoke from a 4 t/h coal-burning boiler in a pharmacy factory was treated by an integrated dust collection and desulfurization device. The dust collection rate and desulfurization rate are 95% and 77% , respectively. The discharge smoke is accord with the national standards. The device has double effects of cyclone water membrane dust collector and wet circumvolving-flow board scrubber. The mechanism, design parameters and technical and economic analysis of the device are introduced in the paper.
