Adsorption of phenol on carbon nanotubes embedded in sodium alginate gel beads

Abstract:
The adsorption of phenol from aqueous solution onto carbon nanotubes and the carbon nanotubes embedded in sodium alginate gel beads were studied.The effects of temperature,pH value and rotational speed were investigated.The adsorbent was regenerated by thermal desorption.The results show that the effects of pH value and rotational speed on carbon nanotubes and the carbon nanotubes embedded in sodium alginate gel beads are remarkable,but the effect of temperature on them is significant.Thermal regeneration h...
