Contact oxidation of car-washing wastewater with activated carbon fiber as biocarrier
|
Abstract:
Polyacrylonitrile activated carbon fiber (PAN-ACF) was used as biocarrier to treat the car-washing wastewater in order to make it recycle. LAS,COD and NH_3 -N were evaluated. The results suggested that at normal temperature, pH = 6.5 ~ 7, the reactor could operate under the optimized operating conditions at a flow of 30 mL/min,and the removal rate of LAS,COD and NH_3 -N was about 97% ,80% and 60% respectively. The effluent met the Miscellaneous Domestic Wastewater Quality Standard (C J/T48-99). In addition, the biocompatibility and regenerability performance of PAN-ACF was good in the experiment.
