Study on stress of organic phenol and light intensity on Hydrodictyon reticulatum
|
Abstract:
The effects of organic phenol in the eutrophic water and light intensity on the remediation plants were studied. The results showed that adequate illumination can effectively improve the resistance of Hydrodictyon reticulatum to organic phenol in the water, speed up the degradation of phenol, increase the productivity of active oxygen, reduce the electrolyte permeability of plasma membrane and enhance the metabolism of polysaccharide. The concentration of phenol more than 50 mg/L can enhance the electrolyte permeability dramatically and decrease the polysaccharide content thereby causing the irreversible damage to H. reticulatum .
