Study on application of biofilter in odor pollution control
生物过滤技术在恶臭污染治理中的应用研究

Biotechnology is an economical and environmentally friendly method for odor pollution control, which is becoming an effect alternative to treat various waste gas. Here the application effect of biofilter in different odor-polluted environment was investigated, the problems occurred in the process of application were analyzed, and the mechanism and process of biotechnology were also introduced. Study results showed that biofilter can efficiently purify odor air emitted from residential sewage treatment plant and waste-compacting station, but it can not meet the requirement of treatment of volatile organical waste air generated from industrial enterprises, the process of biofilter remains to be improved and perfected.
