Quantitative analysis of OH · generated in electrically assisted photocatalysis
|
Abstract:
Electrically assisted photocatalysis(EAP) is one of the enhanced photocatalysis technology with wide application field. The quantitative analysis of hydroxyl radical (OH·) generated in EAP is very important for the research of EAP mechanism. This paper aimed at the quantitative analysis of OH· generated in EAP through probe compound method taking o-chlorine benzoic acid as the probe compoud. It was found that the concentration of OH· in EAP was twice larger than that in photocatalysis. The second order reaction dynamics constant of benzamide reacting with OH·was worked out through the degradation experiment of benzamide by EAP. The mechanism of EAP was analyzed.
