An Interface Extraction Algorithm for Foamed Dreg Image
高炉泡沫渣图像界面的提取算法

This paper describes a method for detecting the interface in foamed dreg images based on the digital processing technique. First, the video signals obtained by a CCD camera are converted into digital image signals by an image acquisition card. Then, the contour lines of the foamed dregs are produced through the image processing by a computer. The experimental results have shown that the method is feasible in principle and is of significance for the on-line detection of foamed dreg height.
