A New Enhancement Algorithm for Infrared DIM-small Target Image
一种红外弱小目标图像增强的新算法

In this paper, a new enhancement algorithm is presented based on the characters of infrared dim-small target images. At first, the image background is suppressed by setting a threshold. Then, both gray density and gray interval of the histogram are equalized. This algorithm has the features of small calculation, excellent image enhancement and real-time performance.
