A Camouflage Method against Infrared Imaging Guided Anti-tank Missiles
|
Abstract:
Through the analysis of the survival probability of a tank, the fact that it is difficult for a tank to counter the infrared imaging guided anti-tank missile only by means of zigzag motion and reinforced armor is clarified. A new camouflage method which combines infrared coating materials with interference is proposed. The calculation results for the AGM-64D missile have shown that the survival probability of a tank can be increased greatly by using this method.
