Infrared Real-time Image Processing System Based on CPCI
|
Abstract:
A high performance real-time infrared image processing system based on CPCI bus and FPGA DSP is proposed. In this system,a XC2VP20-5FG676 FPGA chip is used to control sampling and used as the pre-processing unit of infrared image signals,a TMS320C6416T DSP chip is used to constitute the high speed processing unit and A PCI9054 chip is used to interface with the 32 bit PCI bus. Thus,a common standard hardware platform which can be used to collect and process infrared signals is formed. This method fully combines the advantages of different processors and has the features of high processing capability, high data transmission speed, reliable and convenient interface and flexible programming. The experiment shows that the system can meet the real-time processing requirement of infrared images.
