A New Infrared Thermograph Analysis Method and Its Application in Diagnosis of Breast Tumor

Abstract:
In this paper,a new infrared thermograph analysis method used to analyze the information about the heat sources in a human body is proposed on the basis of the idea of thermal texture maps. The heat transfer derivation equation containing inner heat sources is established and its solution is derived.Then,through the superposition of the normal heat on the abnormal heat,the mathematical expression for a human body's surface temperature distribution when there is an inner heat source is found.The expression is used to process the temperature data in the possible pathological change region in a thermograph.In the above process,two reference parameters:h the depth of an inner heat source and q the heat intensity of an inner heat source are chosen.Here,h corresponds to the depth of the anatomical location of the tumor and q corresponds to the nature of the tumor.Clinical results show that these two parameters are very effective for the nature determination and location of tumors.
