Application of Infrared Spectroscopy in Gas Sensing
|
Abstract:
According to the absorption lines of gases in the infrared spectral region, the gas concen- trations can be measured by using the infrared spectroscopy. In this paper, the applications of infrared spectroscopy in gas concentration sensing and related research status at abroad are presented. The gas detection systems which combine the semiconductor lasers or light emitting diodes with the infrared spectroscopy are described by taking the methane and carbon monooxide as examples. Finally, several systems for gas sensing are presented.
