APPLICATION OF FUZZY SET TO OBJECT RECOGNITION
模糊集在复杂背景下目标选取中的应用

In the condition of complicated background, object recognizing is not easy. In this paper an effective method was presented based on multi feature extraction. It takes the advantage of fuzzy membership to describe feature importance. A successful application to automatic recognition of vehicle license plate was also presented. The results of field test show that the recognition rate is up to 99%.
