A NEW TYPE OF MULTICHANNEL OPTICAL CORRELATOR

A multichannel Vander Lugt Correlator (VLC) based on Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal Spatial Light Modulator (FLCSLM) was proposed. It takes advantage of the existence of higher diffraction orders generated by the pixeling effect of electrically addressed SLM(EASLM).The preliminary experimental results were given.
