CODING OF IMAGE OBJECTS BASED ON WAVELET TRANSFORM USING LIFTING SCHEME
基于二代小波变换的图像目标编码方法

Wavelet lifting scheme was applied to the transform coding of arbitrarily shaped image objects. There are two approaches: one needs the extrapolation of the image object and the other is a shape adopted algorithm by modifying the lifting scheme. The experiment result shows that the image compression performance of the two approaches is better than Katata's approach which uses the classical wavelet transform.
