The mechanism and inhibition effect on chitosan for mild steel in 1mol / L HCl

Abstract:
We systemically studied the inhibiting effect of chitosan on metal corrosin in 1 mol/L HCl by weight loss and electrochemical measurement.The results of weight loss measurement showed that inhibition efficiency increased and the corrosion rate decreased with the increasing concentration of chitosan,reaching 13.8g/(m2?h) at 333 K,and corrosion rate increased but the inhibitory efficiency did not decrease with the increase of temperature,reaching 93.8% at 333 K.The thermodynamic adsorption behavior of inhibit...
