Electrochemical behavior of metal electrodes in NaCl solution containing oil
|
Abstract:
Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) technique and potential step method were employed to study the electrochemical behaviour of Pt and Ni electrodes in 3.5%NaCl solution containing oil.Based on the impedance spectrum characteristics, the equivalent circuit models for these electrodes were established. The research results showed that the porous electrodes respond better, and the foam nickel electrodes display the more significant respondance than the Pt black one for the different contents of oil in NaCl solution.
