The project of mass productive early propagation of Plectorhinchus cinctus

The project of mass productive early artificial breeding of Plectorhinchus cinctus was carried out in Donghai Island,Zhanjiang,from Febrary 28 to April 15 in 2003.Healthy and mature parent fish were selected in the experiment.After a period of breeding with nutrititus feeds,by using LPH-A2 and HCG the fish were hastened parturition by artificial means,and then inseminated naturally.Later they were bred in breeding pond of 30 m3 for 15 days and then tranferred in pond in the open air.As a result,370 000 fry of fish with average body length of 40 mm were obtained,and the survival rate is 12.8%.
