Distribution and accumulation of nutrients and heavy metals in the sediment of Changjiang estuary wetlands

In this study,the total nitrogen(NT),total phosphorus(PT) and heavy metals(Cu,Zn,Pb and Cd) were measured in the sediment of Chongming dongtan wetland.The distribution and accumulation of nutrients and heavy metals in the sediment are elucidated.The result shows distribution and accumulation of NT and heavy metals are very similar,namely Phragmites australis zone>Spartina alterniflora zone>Scirpus mariqueter zone>mudflat.There is an increasing trend from mudflat to high tidal flat and from south to north in...
