STUDY ON FAR-INFRARED AND LOW FREQUENCY RAMAN SPECTROSCOPIES OF DNA
|
Abstract:
The conformation change, the strand-separation of the helix and the soliton phenomenon of DNA, in whtch the low vibrational modes are involved, have been reviewed. It is pointed out that far-infrared and low frequency Raman spectroscopies would be a very useful tool in the study of the structure and biological function of DNA.
