THE SUCCESS OF DYEING COTTON CLOTH WITH SEA WATER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN CHINA
海水印染在我国首次研究成功

The industrilized test of using seawater for dyeing cotton cloth studied by Qingdao Pacific New Technology Institute, has passed the technical appraisement at provincial level presided over by shandong provincial Committee of Science and Technology on Nov. 20, 1986. The new technique is the first at home and has not been reported elsewhere. Using seawater for dyeing colton cloth can save more than 40% of fresh water and 50% of dye. All of the indices of dyeing quality have reached of surpassed the national standard.
