DISTRIBUTION OF DISSOLVED OXYGEN IN HUANGHE RIVER ESTUARY AND ITS COASTAL ZONE
黄河口区及其附近海域溶解氧的分布变化

Distribution of dissolved oxygen in Huanghe (Yellow) River Estuary in May, August and November, 1984, is discussed. The content of dissolved oxygen in Huanghe River Estuary is mainly affected by temperature. In spring, the content of dissolved oxygen is affected by diatoms, while in summer, by microscopic phytoplankton.At bottom layer of the moutn of the Huanghe River the AOU (Apparent oxygen utilization) is as high as 2.04ml/L in summer, as a result of the oxidation of organic matter adhereing on suspended matter.
