Protective effect of organic Se-containing polysaccharides against chromium-induced oxidative damage to cell DNA of mice

Abstract:
The protective effect of Se-polysaccharides extracted from Se-enriched Flammulina velutipes on the bone marrow cell DNA of mice exposed to chromium was studied by single cell gel electrophoresis. In order to evaluate the bioactivity of Se-polysaccharides,their inhibition of endogenous lipid peroxidation of mice was examined.
