Photocatalytic properties of highly ordered TiO2 nanotube arrays

Abstract:
Highly ordered titanium oxide nanotube arrays were fabricated by anodizing a pure titanium foil.The microstructure and morphology of the as-prepared samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).In addition,the effects of the reaction time,initial concentration,pH value,and H2O2 concentration on methyl orange degradation by the photocatalysis were investigated.The degradation efficiency of methyl orange reached 100% after 2 h UV irradiation in neutral solution when...
